We have reached a very exciting stage in the theatre’s redevelopment as we finalise interior details including the seating and décor as well as the all-important plumbing, for our heritage auditorium. We are also in the throes of seeking permission to erect scaffolding outside the front of the theatre to paint the façade.

Meanwhile the scaffolding in the fly tower is down as the builders complete the stage floor and create new stage curtains. The fly tower was part of the theatre that was destroyed by the 1972 fire and we are thrilled to see it recreated ready for our October opening.

As building work begins to draw to a close, we are focusing on the programming for both our Main House and the Minghella Studio. A taster of what will come for 2016!
