This week is Dementia Awareness Week, when people across the UK raise awareness for dementia and highlight the importance of supporting those living with dementia and their carers.
We’re showing our support by hosting a drama session run by dementia specialists, Red Sauce Theatre on Tuesday 7th June. The workshop is aimed at inspiring and empowering people with dementia by using drama to encourage communication and raise awareness of the illness in a positive way. Sessions include stories and poems, music and masks, relaxation and reminiscence tailored especially to people living with the condition and their carers.
