National Apprentice Week: NTR’s inspirational Apprentices help empower Portsmouth’s next generation
In celebration of National Apprentice Week, New Theatre Royal has been helping make an impact on the next generation by letting our two wonderful Apprentices, Leah from Marketing and Natalie from Technical, join the Shaping Portsmouth Apprenticeship Bus, engaging with young people and shedding light on the vast opportunities that apprenticeships can offer.
Natalie and Leah have been promoting the benefits of apprenticeships and sharing their personal experiences, inspiring students to explore alternative paths to their careers.
Each year, the Apprenticeship Bus travels around the city taking apprentices from Portsmouth-based businesses and organisations into schools, giving students a chance to meet them face to face and get a real, first-hand insight into what life is like as an Apprentice.

National Apprentice Week has provided an excellent platform for them to showcase both their talents and abilities to inspire others and to introduce culture and the arts as a viable career path” said NTR.
