New Theatre Royal along with Ray McVay and his Glenn Miller Orchestra are proud to be apart of the passion short film project Angel Fleet, directed by Tristan Loraine of Fact Not Fiction Films.
The story is set against the backdrop of rural West Sussex, and tells the story of a grieving family. Whilst the mum organises events to remember all lost aviators like her late husband, her two daughters explore unexplained happenings at a disused World War 2 airfield. (RAF Coolham).
The ‘Angel Fleet‘ music theme was composed by Moritz Schmittat, performed by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra and supported by the Big Notes Choir Horsham, directed by Mark Bradbury.
Additional music and performances are provided by the Glenn Miller Orchestra UK directed by Ray McVay and was filmed at the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth including a solo performance by Darcy Jacobs, which was included as part of the film.
The film premieres on 27 April 2023.
