The New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth Spring – Summer Brochure has arrived and will be landing on doorsteps very soon! Gracing the cover this season is this striking image from Motionhouse, from their stunning dance performance, Charge which is coming to the New Theatre Royal in May.
With stand up comedy, live music, musicals and more, this is our biggest season yet. We’re welcoming the award-winning international touring production of Monty Python’s Spamalot, the hotly anticipated Joe Pasquale as Frank Spencer in Some Mother’s Do ‘Ave ‘Em, Time Luscombe’s thrilling adaptation of Henry James’ classic ghost story Turn of the Screw, and Nichola McAuliffe as Miss Havisham in Charles Dickens’ brilliant Great Expectations.
We’re also excited to have our first ever Easter production – Alice in Wonderland.
We’ve also got some brilliant stand up comedy from Jethro, Lee Hurst, Rich Hall and Brian Conley, as well as music from Hazel O’Connor, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, and Jason Donovan. Kiki Dee and Carmelo Luggeri will also be treating us to a very special intimate acoustic performance in our StageHouse.
And that is just a few of the shows that are available to book.
As well as bringing a wide range of theatre, music, comedy, dance and family entertainment, we’ve also launched some new opportunities to make our shows more accessible, including £10 tickets for under 25s, a new Pay what You Can scheme, banded pricing and Early Bird discounts.
