We are very saddened to hear that Sir Peter Maxwell Davies (Max), passed away this week. He was an extraordinary composer, an inspiration to musicians young and old alike, and a wonderful gentleman. We were very honoured to have him as a Patron of our theatre and to have heard the fanfare he composed for us for our 160th birthday event last Friday.
All our thoughts are with his family and friends.
